Elections 2021

The next elections will take place in spring 2021! You will be able to submit your candidacy as early as the fall semester 2020 - the candidacy window will be closed in the spring semester 2021, so you have enough time to sign up and will hopefully come across our communications about the possibility of running.

You will finally be able to cast your vote in the middle of the spring semester 2021. With your voice you give yourself and your fellow students an important voice in the discourse on the future of the University of Zurich.

Elections 2021

Student engagement is extremely valuable, since we experience the University of Zurich up close on a daily basis and we know the strengths and weaknesses of teaching at the university. At the VSUZH, you can work on topics that affect all UZH students inside and beyond your own department, together with students from different fields of study. These include, but are not limited to; Study financing, module booking, library opening hours, offerings at the cafeteria, new UZH buildings, multiple choice exams and much more. The size of our university makes it clear that a single person is only rarely heard, but we can achieve a lot together - be a part of the university co-determined by us students!

Even if you don't have the capacity or the interest to get involved yourself, then it is all the more important that you cast your vote for one or more people and / or political groups in the elections. In doing so, you are sending out the message that student representation is important and that you want the students at VSUZH to do their best for all UZH students.
