As the official representative at university and cantonal level, the VSUZH represents the concerns and interests of the students of the University of Zurich and is committed to networking the student associations of the UZH. We are looking for a person with great motivation and creativity to co-manage and implement association communication as of October 1st, 2022 or by agreement.

Requirements
-
You know how to write gripping, eloquent texts for the various communication channels
-
Technical and practical know-how for photo and film recordings
-
Bring very good team skills for working with the Communication & Graphics department
-
Familiar with the use, trends and developments of social media platforms and tools
-
Good knowledge of design software, as well as photo and video editing programs (ideally Adobe)
-
Ability to work in a team and work independently
-
Experience with Discord and Wix is an advantage

VSUZH Secretariat 60%
Do you like working with young people and enjoy a varied everyday life? We are looking for a new person for the central task of the secretariat of the Association of Students at the University of Zurich, VSUZH. The secretariat works with eight students in weekly meetings, while allowing for independent work in the office near the university. Bookkeeping and administration of the VSUZH are part of the daily work. In order to relieve the student board and the student co-presidium and give them the opportunity to take care of the association's work, the secretariat takes on tasks such as pending control, maintaining databases, processing payment transactions, maintaining the catalog of activities, archiving documents or creating an annual plan. The secretariat may not intervene in the executive board's decision-making powers, but may be asked by the executive board for its assessment. The secretariat is present at board and council meetings and accompanies the student board at team building and team bonding events.
The secretariat is also in contact with the other employees and delegates of the VSUZH. For the secretariat, we are therefore looking for a person who enjoys working with young people and enjoys everyday student life and administrative tasks.

Introduction/coaching of new board members in cooperation with the persons who will hand over the corresponding department

Maintenance of the VSUZH databases and administration of personal data

Preparation of the meetings together with the Executive Committee

Creation of the annual plan in consultation with the board of directors

The office at Rämistrasse 62 is centrally located in the university area of Zurich within sight of the Kunsthaus Zurich. The secretariat of the VSUZH is employed by the University of Zurich and the employment conditions are based on cantonal personnel law.
